Skudo Commercial Mat System works very well as a temporary surface protection solution for sealed or polished concrete, or concrete that has been cured at least 14 days (Heavy Traffic, or HT, being the only product recommended for exterior use).

With polished concrete, Skudo also gives you the flexibility to polish before the walls and framing go up – saving you the time and labor of doing edge work.

Skudo

Terrazzo is often used at healthcare facilities, where protection against mold and bacteria is absolutely essential.

Using Skudo over terrazzo can keep all these challenges at bay. Dirt, debris and contaminants, including mold and bacteria, do not come into contact with the surface. Machinery, carts, foot and other construction traffic cannot penetrate the tough mat, so there is no fear of damage being left behind or additional cleanup needed.

Skudo can be used on tile and marble floors, countertops, back splashes, shower stalls and more – cut it to fit the area where you need surface protection.When protecting older tile or marble during renovation, you can expect it to look better than ever once removal of Skudo takes dirt and grime with it.

Skudo

Skudo is able to protect these surfaces from construction site debris without damaging the floor itself, but unlike tape or other similar products, it will not leave any marks behind.

Important Note: Only use Skudo on sealed hardwood with a hard wearing factory finished surface (eg : Aluminum Oxide). If in question, contact Skudo for suitability testing.

Skudo Tack-Mat is the only product recommended for hardwood, laminate, and vinyl. Use of the Skudo Commercial System is NOT recommended for these surface types.

Skudo

Carpet can be easily damaged during construction by stains, spills, paint splatter, and dropped materials. The majority of carpet protective film on the market is thin, tears easily, and can only be used for a maximum of 30-45 days. Skudo offers carpet protection that is tear and rip resistant, thicker than most products on the market, and can be left in place for up to 6 months.
